If you’re curious about what goes on under the waves, snorkeling tours are a great way to view the incredible variety of life that lives under the surface of the ocean. If you don’t want to get wet, there’s even a submarine that can take you into the deeps while you view its mysteries from the comfort of a warm cabin. Helicopter tours are an excellent way to take in views of the whole island, including incredible waterfalls, sea cliffs, and forests you would be hard pressed to view on foot. For those looking for a little more excitement, check out the zip lines at the Haleakala Skyline Tour. All this can be done just minutes, even steps away from your Maui vacation rental!

We are centrally located in West Maui, 5 minutes north of Ka'anapali and 5 minutes south of Kapalua.   Our condo was situated in the heart of Kaanapali close to beaches, shops and food. Beautiful view of the ocean from our lanai and whale sightings galore. Condo was clean and well stocked with amenities. It was spacious and well suited for our group of six. Only suggestion would be better signage and outdoor lighting at front entrance as we arrived late at night and a bit difficult finding our condo #1. Overall we enjoyed our accommodations and would recommend this property.

  Overall this was a fantastic rental for our Maui vacation. The unit was clean and ready for our arrival. The rental agency was responsive and easy to work with. Views of the golf course, the ocean, Lanai and Molokai from the back deck. Loved having three bedrooms and three en-suite bathrooms for our family. Great location, just a half mile from the beach, so walkable if the others in our group had the rental car. Appreciated having a washer/dryer in the unit, and enjoyed having a community pool when we needed a break from the sand. The only negatives we experienced were: The A/C is not whole house, it is window units. These worked well, except the 3rd bedroom does not have one, and that room got quite warm and uncomfortable. The unit was tired, and in need of a little TLC. That said, we would not hesitate to stay here again.

  Beautiful spot on Maui. Very well equipped, stunning views to the west (Lanai and Moloka’i both visible), charming tropical furnishings, and easy access to myriad activities, such as shopping and beaches, from a nice residential neighborhood. View from the master bedroom and living room and patio is to die for. The beach chairs and cooler at the property were great to use as well.   We had an amazing vacation and the staff were friendly and helpful. A couple of minor things which would have really enhanced our stay was 1 of the 3 bedrooms really needs an AC unit as it was really warm & humid in the evening. Our friends had to leave door open and run ceiling & electric fans running all night to be able to fall asleep & get some rest. The sliding closet door in the hallway was also off the track.   We loved watching the whales more from the patio than we did from the beach. There was even a pair of binoculars to use! The house was great for 3 couples. We had the smallest bedroom and the bathroom had a pocket door which was only an issue in the middle of the night as it was very loud when you tried to close it. The shower seem small, just a little larger than a cruise ship shower. So definitely manageable. Queen size bed was comfortable and cozy. We have slept in a king size bed for 24+ years. That bedroom did not have A/C but had a ceiling fan and to floor fans. The weather was in the high 60's to upper 70's so the ceiling fan and the cracked a bit was perfect.
  
  We were there for 2 weeks and enjoyed the location and the house. Terry was very responsive to any questions we had.
  
  Only down fall was that the screen door for the front door has a gap on the top and the bottom so you can't leave it open to enjoy the breeze, or you get little visitors. The kitchen window worked good as an alternative.
  
  Another note: Don't be fooled by the rain showers you may be getting at the house. Go to the beach or to the south and you won't be bothered by them. There were a lot of rainbows out the front door!
  
  If we return to Maui we will definitely consider renting this house again.

  My husband & I, along with 3 of his sisters and 2 brothers-in-law visited another sister & brother-in-law and a brother living in Maui. Some of us were able to stay in the Maui Plantation #1 very close to where their Maui sister lives. It was a perfect setup for our crew. One of our family was in a wheelchair and the condo was perfect for him to be able to access all areas of the condo, being that it was all on one floor and there were no stairs. The view from the lanai was perfect whether we were watching golfers on the greens or whales from the bay. All of the needed supplies to provide for our cooking needs were available for our 2 week stay. We would definitely stay there again in the future!

  Overall had a great time in this condo. Great location just a few blocks up from the beach. Great views from the lanai - did lots of whale watching from there. Condo was great for three couples at a time as each bedroom has it’s own en-suite. Very nicely furnished and decorated. The beds were all comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with all the dishes, utensils and appliances you might need and more. Could use a few more tea towels and dish cloths (we were there for 5 weeks so we bought some). Otherwise lots of bedding, towels and beach towels. Lots to do and see on Maui. I would definitely stay in this property again.

The only drawback: the air conditioning was only marginally effective to control the heat during our stay in the last week of September. If you need air conditioning, the bedroom without a unit is uncomfortable.

  This rental is located on the Kaanapali Royal golf course and overlooks the water, with beautiful sunset views. AC is provided and was a must in August due to the west-facing windows. One bedroom didn't have AC window unit and that addition would have been nice. Kitchen is large and well-stocked with everything we needed. Lots of plastic containers for the beach was nice. BBQ grill located on porch had some issues with not heating properly. Everything is just as it looks in the pictures. Big plus for this rental is location. Your are minutes from good golf and a great big beach to snorkel and see awesome fish or just hang out in the sun or under shade trees.

  We were very happy with this unit. The Lanai was exactly as pictured and we spent most of our time sitting outside and watching for whale spouts. Being a mile from the beach gave us a sense of being away from it all, yet it was a short walk to a great snorkeling beach & a short drive to everywhere else. We loved the kitchen and the BBQ grill on the lanai and cooked most of our meals at home. But the best was having three rooms and three bathrooms. For a party of five, it was great for my son & his wife, my younger son, & my husband & I to each have our own space. I can see us coming back again and again.

  The property we rented in March was absolutely perfect! The view was amazing as we could see the ocean. The property was very clean. We really liked the fact that each room had it's own bathroom. We were travelling with 2 other people so it was ideal to have our own bathrooms. The management team was very responsive when we had questions. We needed a blow up mattress for our toddler and the management team went above and beyond and got us a new one when the one we received had a missing part. The cupboards are packed with all the essentials. Another great thing is that we didn't have to buy anything for the beach! They had chairs, umbrella, toys for the beach and beach towels. We received a board at the beach and left that behind to pay it forward to the next group of travelers! The management team also let us stay a few hours later as our flight was cancelled and moved to a later hour. We had a fantastic time in that area. The beaches around Kaanapali are gorgeous! Some great restaurants to try in Maui are Miso Sushi, Lahaina Grill and Da Kitchen (that one is near the airport). We have a lot of tips so feel to contact us for more information. Overall we loved the location and would definitely recommend it and book it again!

  The pictures describe this rental well. We were thrilled to be able to whale watch from the patio! The 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were great. Air conditioning is good although the large ceiling fans did the trick most of the time anyway. Unit was not immaculate for cleanliness but certainly nothing gross! The kitchen is well stocked for small appliances and utensils. We did leave a comment that they need to sharpen the knives though (such a small complaint) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and certainly would recommend it.

  Going to Maui is a great experience in itself, however when you throw in a place to stay like the Plantation condos...WOW! We stepped into a great view home that was peaceful. We watched the whales play while having breakfast each morning. Each room was like a little getaway. The house decor was simply perfect. We can't wait to visit again!

  This is a large home, and exceptional sunset view. Traveling was very convenient. We were able to relax. There were several requests, and were fulfilled quickly.
  
  One little problem was because it was on the Ground level, there were bugs in the kitchen that appears and we have to remove them often.
  
  The management staff were all very nice and extremely helpful, will commend them for going out of their ways for a special request.

  Just perfection- this is our second time staying and it always feels like home. This unit is spotlessly clean, well appointed, extremely comfortable with million dollar views and nice recent upgrades to some of the furnishings. Layout is great giving every a sense of privacy with 3 en suite bathrooms. Plus the property manager is on top of absolutely anything you need- really tremendous. Move in and kick back--Maui no ka oi!

  Our family consisting of 4 adults and 2 teenagers stayed for 2 weeks in unit #1. This was our second stay at Kaanapali Plantation and we consider it an ideal place to stay. It is quiet and not crowded with magnificent views to the ocean across the golf course. It has excellent facilities and the grounds are beautiful. It's only a short walk down to the beach or an even shorter drive.
  The unit is large and very comfortable, clean and well maintained with a kitchen well supplied with crockery and cooking equipment. The bedrooms are large and beds comfortable.
  My only observation that could be improved upon is that the bathrooms although very clean and functional are probably due for an update regarding finishes and fittings.
  I would be very happy to recommend unit #1 as an excellent place to stay.

  Looked hard to find a 3-bedroom, 3-bath condo with a great view. This fit the bill. Has a well-equipped kitchen and BBQ to enjoy dinners and breakfasts on the lanai. One downside, there was no air conditioner in the 3rd bedroom. Had to request a big fan to help cool the room. The property manager was quick to help. Very enjoyable stay!

  We had 3 couples and found the property well suited for our group. The large well equipped kitchen made several dinners at home most enjoyable. It was quite hot several days of our stay and the lack of an air conditioner in the third bedroom was one of the few downsides to the place. The location is exceptional.

    Aloha Penny, With over 1,500 square feet this condo has the room for 3 couples to spread out and enjoy the island life!!! The large kitchen and lanai makes cooking for family and friends a memory that will last a lifetime. We have had a few warm days this year do to the lack of trade winds but this tropical island is a vacation that will never be forgotten!!! Please come stay with us again soon...the whales are coming ... some have already been spotted. The sighting of a mother whale and her baby are something that will be talked about for years.   This beautiful condo was exactly what we needed for our stay. Each bedroom had its own full bathroom with plenty of linens and even soaps, shampoo and conditioner. The kitchen was fully stocked with glassware, dishes, pots and pans. They thought of everything. From the chocolate macadamia nut candy welcoming us to the condo, to beach towels, beach cooler and sand toys to use for our excursions. The binder with great information on where to go and what's available in Maui. Loved the gorgeous ocean and golf course views. Herb, the property manager, was very accommodating. Broke my ankle while hiking and he took care of returning my rental equipment. Will definitely stay in Unit #1 when we come back to beautiful Maui !!! One comment, the shower/tub combos need to have some sort of anti-slip mat or stickers. Very slippery.

  Overall our stay here was glorious. Brought two families so having 3 rooms and 3 bathrooms made things so flexible.
  
  Fantastic view of the ocean, we even saw whales. And that patio deck to sit on was awesome.
  
  Every vacation has its hiccups, and this was no exception. We were greeted with some bugs in the condo and some dishes weren't clean. But those were the only issues.
  
  The best part: Herb! Man was he ever so helpful. I bothered him so many times but he was always nice and helpful. Even came out to fix issue with sink that we caused (sorry!). He's a great guy, and made our stay so nice.

  Our unit came as advertised. The view across the golf course to the ocean was great. The access to Keakeheli Beach was convenient by walking or car and is a wonderful public beach. You are also on the walkway for the all of the Kaanapali beach properties ( hotels , Whaler's Village, etc. ) The unit had all necessary kitchen appliances and supplies ( including some spices , condiments etc.)
  
  This is an end unit which affords a little more privacy but there is some traffic noise from the adjacent road and the highway below the golf course when the doors and windows are open.
