  Great place to stay for a getaway from snow & cold of Northern Minnesota. Snorkeling, whales, dolphins, turtles, surfers to watch from your lanai & sand beach next door. Hot tub and two pools to soak in and the grounds are a lush tropical garden. We even enjoyed some of the bananas that are grown on the property.

The Oceanside hot tub is unique and looks over many resident turtles.   Less than a stone’s throw from the water. You’re going to have to get used to the waves rocking on the shore line. Surfers & turtles to watch and a view of Molokai across the channel .   First up, Terry at MLP was great to work with! Great communication and flexible during these covid times. I have been on and off the Noelani property since 1986 and have stayed at a dozen properties there. I was involved in the planning of the office expansion out front, relocation of the whale and consulted on new pool deck stonework. I have stayed in unit 219 at least 10 times over the years and time for some updates in this unit! Not much has changed in 20 years and most of the other units have seen major interior improvements. Specifically, kitchen needs remodel, granite and updated appliances. The mini-fridge should be replaced and door needs to swing in opposite direction. Pantry/closet in kitchen needs upgrade. Bathroom/shower has had some improvements but needs more...granite on vanity, new fixtures and towel hooks. The antique dresser in the bathroom is nice to look at but difficult to use. Condo-wide, the white walls are very stark, and need HI/Polynesian artwork/photos in most locations! Wall plugs are limited and also need updating/many plugs are ganged into a few plugs and may be overloading the circuits. Bed very comfortable, and beach chairs and cooler were a nice addition for beach goers like us. 219 is our favorite unit because of the views, sounds and proximity to the ocean. Now the condo interior needs to catch up.

  We love Noelani 219 and have been enjoying the property for many years. The grounds and pool area are very well maintained. Herb, Terry and Toddy at Maui Lodging are extremely professional and helpful. The unit is starting to show its age however and could use some freshening up. A new fridge; a fresh coat of paint and some new pillows/mattress cover would be a good start! Otherwise can't beat that beautiful ocean view.

  We celebrated 5 years in this great little escape right on the water. Walking distance to some coffee shops, small market and of course the beach is right next door. Turtles surrounded the water right in front of the unit and the sunsets were amazing. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and would recommend this place to others.   LOVED our stay at Noelani Condos, room 219. It's on the ocean and beautiful.   Frankly, at $99 a night we just weren’t sure what we were getting ourselves into. Still, we booked the unit and hoped for the best. We were pleasantly surprised to find that this is a corner unit with parking available just steps from the stairwell. The unit is clean, stocked with everything we needed, and though it is small it’s laid out in a really sensible functional way. There was more than enough space for the two of us, and having the view directly out to the ocean was incredible. There is no AC as other reviewers noted, but there is a great cross breeze with the windows open and there’s a ceiling fan as well as a standing fan. The temperature got up to the mid 80s during our trip but we were very comfortable.
  There is a nice little beach just a minutes walk away on the other side of the parking lot, and the snorkeling there was incredible. TONS of turtles to swim with (but remember - keep your distance!) as well as a lot of interesting fish swimming along the rocks here.
  As for the condo community, there are two pools, barbecues, a hot tub, and even a laundry room. We truly had everything we needed right at our fingertips.
  This was a great value and a truly enjoyable stay. We will definitely be looking to book again on our next trip to Maui.

  Location, location, location! We couldn't get any closer to the ocean without getting wet! Reasonably priced rental with a million dollar view. We loved sitting on the lanai, watching the turtles right below and enjoying great sunsets, even on cloudy days. Location was great, out of the fray from Lahaina, with restaurants and stores close by and the best snorkel spot (Honolua) just up the road. The only downside was traffic getting to and from central, east or south Maui, but once we were back "home", we were in paradise. Recommend Noelani 219 to anyone who wants a private, clean, comfortable home base for their Maui adventures.

  The Noelani 219 apartment is a great and efficient apartment for those wanting to be in a true oceanfront location. From the lanai, you are literally 20 feet from the sea wall. Every morning the view offers ever changing vistas of Molokai island, including many rainbows as well as green sea turtles feeding around the sea wall. The apartment was clean, well appointed and comfortable. Terry was always very communicative and made the checking process a breeze. We even had a welcome visit from the office staff with a care package. Fantastic place!

  Noelani #219 has an outstanding view over the ocean. We enjoyed many hours watching the dozens of turtles feeding just below our condo. There were many surfers and paddle boarders taking advantage of the surf less than 100 metres from the condo. Bring binoculars to scan the horizon for whales. A great, comfortable little condo with all that we could ask for.

  My wife and I are so happy that we chose Noelani #219 for a four-day vacation. The location was great - less than 10 minutes from Napili to the north and Lahaina to the south - so we could be anywhere quickly. It was also only a few minutes from the grocery store and shops in Ka'anapali, but we didn't have to worry about any of the noise or crowds. The condo was great - clean with good basic provisions. It's the end unit, so it is very quiet and parking right next door. A big plus - the sea turtles coming to play every afternoon (4-6 pm) right in the water under the condo.

  This was such a wonderful surprise.
  We could see from previous reviews that it was well rated but it actually was even better than told!
  Sea right up to our balcony deck and a great little surf break right out front.
  I got to surf 4 days straight while my wife sipped tea on the deck watching everything unfold.
  We had great swims around the little rocky point and down to the neighbouring beach snorkelling and checking out the turtles.
  Beautiful comfy bed and the ocean sounds and breeze rocking you to sleep at night.
  Beautifully laid out studio , really tidy and clean, and a gym and heated pool.
  The best thing is that the unit is not part of a huge condo or hotel but is just one of a small number of units.
  This is a major plus for privacy and peacefulness.
  Awesome food choices close by, we loved the sushi phat just up the road and an amazing Mediterranean grill about 10 minutes south.

  Whithout moving my head, I counted 13 turtles grazing, a mama whale and her calf breaching, a handful of short boarders shredding, and the sun setting over Molokia. The kitchen was well equipped for two and grocery stores nearby. Laundry downstairs. We used the pool side BBQs to grill local fish, added veggies and rice and ate on the lanai every night. Better than Mama's resturant! The waves can be loud at night. Favorite place we stayed in Maui! New cocktail discovery, POG with Vodka. Just add music. ??

  We enjoyed Noelani throughly. We kept the lanai door open all the time and felt the breeze and heard the surf constantly. Every morning were we treated to surfers riding the waves and turtles bobbing along the rocky shore line. Next door was a small beach just perfect to take a dip in the ocean and snorkel among the turtles or surf out of. Best place to stay on Maui for my money. Will definitely do it again when in Maui.

  Noelani 219 is in the best location! Not only is it "oceanfront," but it's located right above the rocks where turtles feed every morning. For us that was the best unexpected surprise! When the waves are crashing, you can watch the surfers and paddle boarders from the lanai. When the seas are calm, you have the turtles. The beach right next to it also has some Amazing snorkeling! We saw more from that spot than we did at black rock. The unit itself is clean and was perfect for us. We will definitely stay here on our future trips to Maui!

  When in Maui we always stay at the Noelani condominiums in the Kahana-Lahiana area. We've stayed several times at unit 219 and it is a great value. The location and property siting can't be beat.
  The unit itself is adequate but really is ready for some improvements. The kitchen needs additional outlets and counter space to handle the demands of blender, toaster, coffee maker etc. The bathroom is dated but ok. We did have some issues with the toilet flushing but hopefully the management will resolve that soon. The management folks at Maui Lodging Properties are the best we've experienced in our travels. The responded quickly and thoroughly to our requests. They also were very helpful in allowing us some flexibility in check out times to accommodate our scheduling problems. They did all they could to make our stay trouble free. We will rent 219 Noelani again without hesitation.

  Noelani #219 is the perfect location on Maui and the view from the lanai is beautiful. The condo is somewhat outdated and the bathroom could use refurbishing and deep cleaning. The bed is very comfortable. The management company was very professional and responded quickly to requests. The grounds of the Noelani are well maintained and the pools and hot tub are perfect. I would definitely recommend this condo with the note that there is no air conditioning and it can get quite stuffy when the temperature is warm outside. But for the price, it is perfect!

  Would totally recommend this clean well stocked studio with beautiful water front location. It was simple yet had everything we needed for our stay in Maui and it was better than we had expected from the pictures we saw online. The only issue we had was the coffee pot was cracked when we arrived. We notified maintenance and they brought us a new coffee maker by 8am the next morning. A nice surprise was the free welcome breakfast and overview of attractions and excursions. The unit also included snorkel equipment and beach chairs for 2 and really nice plush beach towels! We enjoyed the hot tub under the stars every night while we listened to the waves crash next to us. In the morning, we awoke to beautiful vibrant double rainbows almost everyday. As we ate breakfast on the lanai, we watched turtles swim in on the rocks and surfers paddle out. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

  Noelani is not the Ritz Carlton, as you know. Instead its a great little home to park yourself (1 to 2 people ideally) and relax. No air conditioning but the evening winds are adequate to keep Cool... Especially if you keep the front door open. Management office was very accomodating when I asked to check out late. Great location if you want to explore the north around napipi and Kapalua. The location of the unit on the end was very private. No where to really "walk to" so you'll be driving in and out a,lot. Imo, Shake it up a bit and explore other parts of maui.

  My husband and I had a wonderful stay here. It is so close to the ocean, we sat out on the lanai every morning and watched turtles while we drank our coffee. We also saw two monk seals on the little sand beach next to the condo. This is a beautiful location with lots of great snorkeling close by and just 10 minutes drive to Lahaina. The hot tub and pool were great with a view of the ocean only steps away. My husband did not think he could sleep without ac, but there is such a great breeze through the apartment, he slept like a baby. We would definitely stay here again.

  Wonderful Vacation Spot! So close to the ocean you can see turtles in the water from your lanai on a daily basis. The surfers and boarders are there also. Always something to look at on the ocean including pods of dolphins and whales. The only thing that could be improved would be the mattress on the bed.   I would like to share some pros and cons of this condo based on my experience. I stayed here for a short period (4 days).
  
  Pros
  This Property is in a pretty good location with breathtaking views. We saw some turtles from the patio too. There was a guidance book in the room which was very informative and helpful in planning our activities.
  Had beach chairs and Boggie Boards.
  
  Cons
  This condo needs some upgrades in kitchen, bathroom and also the Mattress. Need to increase some pans and pots. Silverware and plates were not completely cleaned. Bathroom looks like 80's Style and also need to change the Door.
  
  Noelani #219 is good for short stays and i dont recommend for longer stays.

  This place does not have any frills but it does have a wonderful view of the ocean and is in a great location. It's quiet and has a great pool and jacuzzi. The kitchen is nicely stocked and there are grills by the pool so you are able to cook. It's small but you are not really in the room much when you're in Hawaii. The balcony overlooking the water is terrific and you fall asleep hearing the waves. I would recommend this place to friends.

  The unit was clean and view was amazing! This is a quiet corner unit in a 2 story complex so there is no one above you. We were able to watch the turtles DIRECTLY below our lani and the whales breaching in front of us. The only concern was the lack of updated information from the property management company. Example was the pool gate was coded and the info on the table told you to use a key. When I asked the PM about it they didnt know it had been changed and told me to ask the office on site. I did and they treated me like someone off the street trying to sneek into the pool. After much convincing and asking them to call the PM company they gave me the code. Wish check out time was 11 and not 10am. That is way to early! They were other little things but over all a great stay and we would stay again in heartbeat.

  We stayed at Noelani for three nights last week and wished we had stayed there the whole time! The view was perfect, we loved the pool and hottub and thought that all of the restaurant recommendations that were in the binder were very helpful. One thing we would have liked would have been a boogie board or snorkling gear in the apartment, but besides that, we can't wait to return!

  the staff at MLP was great. helpful everytime I called. While unit 219 is a bit dated, it fit all of our needs. Amazing location and we will definately book this unit again. The views are tremendous and watching the surfers and paddleboarders all day was relaxing. i highly recommend calling the nice peopple at MLP and express your desires. They did a perfect job matching up our requirements and desires. Aloha!

  Noelani is very well located, with an amazing view from the lanai, close to all amenities and with a great gas barbecue by the pool area. We watched turtles feeding right in front of the apartment every day, and could access some good snorkeling within 200 yards of Noelani
